Mandarin Orange Monday

Mandarin Orange Monday

Orange is fashionable these days.  The stores are full of orange clothing so I decided I should take advantage of it for my MOM projects ...

I used a variety of filters, color changes, lightness and brightness changes, position changes, painting and this is how I ended up.  I can see things in the last picture, but it may just be a texture to you ... hope you can enjoy it in any case ...

Despite orange's current popularity I don't think it is a colour many people wear well.
I prefer your take on it.

HI Andrea these are all lovely and in the last one I can see a man surfing. Fabulous.

I love all the orange stuff in the stores, and I'm so glad to see it becoming a popular clothing and household color. In the last version, I see what looks like a woman's face with hot air coming from her mouth. Don't ask me where that came from, I don't know!! You have a fabulous day, hugs, Edna B.

What a great idea to choose clothes. You know, orange has been my favourite colour since I was a child...and that was BEFORE the 70's when orange was fashionable too. It is only recently that I have been brave enough to wear it - always had plenty of orange bags etc... I even painted the taps orange when I was student! Now..because it is fashionable, but mainly, because I am older, I feel if i want to be colourful... I will! I even have orange / red "stripes" amongst the grey of my hair now:)
As for your work, I always enjoy watching how it develops and then the final "boom" (my husband reckons I use that word a lot) comes.
My favourites.. I think, are 4 and 5 - so much happening.I see a big wave about to crash in the last, but also see little spurts (pressure points exploding?). Thanks Andrea, for sharing on Mandarin Orange Monday:)
