Photo Art Friday

Pixel Dust Photo Art

This is a composite of a few pages from the time I spent on PAF last year ... they are favorites but not necessarily the only favorites.  I felt like, under Bonnie's tutelage, I grew in my ability to create Photo Art and I am hoping there will be more levels of accomplishment I can achieve.  I am looking forward to another year of challenges and comradery with all of the PAF bloggers.

I used Bonnie's Pages in Time texture for my background then added my pictures to it ... I then put them on Bonnie's Blue Stone texture and used it as a border where I could write.

I couldn't single out a guiding word for the coming year ... there are many that I want to / need to address.  Determination comes to mind because I am determined to do things this year that I have been avoiding or ignoring way to long.  I am starting with getting myself back into shape physically ... both by losing weight and by exercising and regaining some of the strength I gave up to laziness.  I do a lot, but I know I can do more and I am determined to do just that.  So I guess I did choose a word after all ... Hope you all succeed in finding and following the words of your choice and that life takes on an artistic shape that pleases you.

Goodness you are clever. I am in awe. And, as a question, how are you going to do more? Giving up sleep?
Be kind to yourself in your search for a new and improved you. I am very fond of the existing one. I am not saying don't do it, but do it gently. Carefully.

You have such a great sense of design, Andrea! That is one lovely, abstract piece of photo art. With all your interests and activities it is difficult for me to accept the adjective 'lazy' to describe you. People who do a lot always feel like they should/could do more. I certainly appreciate all you have already done to support Photo Art Friday! May 2014 be good to you.

I like the "whisper" feel of this image.

This is such a beautiful design and perfect for family events such as weddings and baptismal. It is subdued but beautiful at the same time.

I love your image, Andrea. As for doing more, where will you find the time? It is planned that we can slow down a bit at this age. Just being out doors and moving a lot is keeping you healthy and fit. And of course, Izzi helps a lot too! I do like the word you chose. It's a good one. BTW, if you figure out how to get rid of any pounds, do let me know. Nothing I have tried has worked. You have a wonderful evening. Hugs, Edna B.

I really enjoy images that make me stop and think, ponder what it says to me and get a glimpse of what it reveals about the artist. Happy New Year, Andrea!
