NF Winged

Oh that it were warm enough for the butterflies to fly and the flowers to bloom ... but, as it is not, I have delved into my files (as suggested by our hostess) and came up with a picture that makes me wish Spring was more than just a passing thought.

Hope you are somewhere warm and cozy ...

Hi Andrea, i miss your visit. While you are still in winter, some warmth from my tropical photos will keep you warm, just like that wonderful shot. It is so lovely, and nice composition. Happy New Year. Keep warm.

Today I am yearning for cool. Today and yesterday. And the day before. Much of Australia is cooking as temperature records in four states are shattered.
And fires rage out of control.
Your images remind me of gentler times - and give me hope they will return.
Thank you.

Gorgeous shot! I wish I was somewhere warm and cozy too, but it's been really cold here. Happy weekend!

If you are waiting for spring, I think I'm waiting for autumn - although the run of very hot days is now over. Thankfully the humidity is generally low - our hot air comes from the dry sands of central Australia.

It's warm enough inside, but the snow keeps coming, so it's cold outside.
Lovely picture of the butterfly :)
Have a nice day.

Pretty. When I think of Spring, I think of migration...and my Sandhill Crane coming back!

I love your Springtime photo. It's definitely a great way to brighten up a bleary winter day. I can't wait to see the butterflies back in my garden again. Last year, there were so many different pretty ones. these last few days here the weather has been pretty good. Soon though, the cold will be back. But then, it is still winter so I can't complain.

Pogo is getting antsy too. He loves to be held in front of the windows so that he can look outside at the birds and the squirrels. I may have to put in a new door that has a window on the bottom so that he can sit there and look out. Hmmm, maybe a nice project for this Spring. Ah well, it's time to find some new mischief to get into today. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B. Pogo sends his woofs and licks to Izzi and promises to have a new photo soon.
