Grow Your Blog

2 Bags Full

Hi, my name is Andrea.  This is my second year of blogging and I don't think I will ever tire of it.
My neighbor, who is also a blogger, talked me into starting a blog and then walked me through the steps ... she is my techie, who helps me when I get stuck.  My blog is mainly a place to post my photos, mostly of nature, pets and places I go. It is a place where I can babble and dabble to my hearts content but, most important, it has been a place where I can meet new people, learn new things and GROW.   Mental activity is a wonderful thing, especially when you get up in years as I have.

You can read about me in my profile and if you choose to peruse my blog you will meet my little dog Izzi, who has her own posts as she corresponds with her friend, Badger Boo in England or as she tells you about life through her eyes.  Izzi is a smart little Mini Australian Shepherd, but not smart enough to speak the Kings English, so don't be offended.

In general "From The Sol" is an eclectic day to day collection of photos, photo art, pets, birds, wild animals, raptors, nature and some special events as they occur.  I hope through my blog you may pick up on some humor, lift your spirits or learn some new artistic ideas to experiment with.  I don't have any deep moral purpose, just want to enjoy life and share what joy I have to share.  It is a light spot meant to be fun for all ... I look  forward to meeting and getting to know all of you.

Thanks for Stopping By ...

And, a Special Thank you to Vickie at 2 Bags Full
for this brilliant idea and for pulling it off for the second year in a row ... you are a brave soul, Vickie!

I didn't realize you have been blogging about the same length of time as I have. I figured you'd been at this for years and years!

I am so glad you chose to visit my blog. Your blog looks like my kind of place, and I truly look forward to visiting often, and getting to know you better. I actually have only ever met one other Andrea. It just isn't a very common name. I was named after my Aunt Andrea on my Mother's side.

Hi Andrea, thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment. I think you are absolutely right that we have blogging interests in common. Your nature photography is stunning and Izzi is just gorgeous. The picture of her kissing the girl at the top of her section is so funny. I look forward to following you and hearing what you all get up to.
Love and best

Hi Andrea! I'm so glad you stopped by to visit my blog. As you can see, it prompted me to visit yours right away and I LOVE it! Great photos - wonderful birds and nature photos. I have a serious case of admiration and envy brewing right now. I'm now a follower and look forward to seeing more of your great shots in the future.

A nice blog, I'm glad to meet you.
We have sometimes meeting in memes, but now you have new reader for all.

(To learn English: I'm trying to learn alone, by doing. Reading. Writing (speaking I miss -)... Often helps me google translator. And I read through my well, what it has translated. Try to remember that, next time I'm doing it alone ... so it goes for me. A possible way -)
Have a great and quiet sunday

I'm happy to meet you at this fabulous party. Your blog is terrific and I look forward to following and reading your posts. Your photos are beautiful. I'm also a retired nurse. There seems to be a lot of us in the blogosphere, especially on crafts blogs. I guess we're so used to being busy that we continue to fill our lives with many activities. The social contact of blogging does help with the loss of contact with all the patients and their families. Please drop by for a visit, Andrea.
