Wild Bird Wednesday

It is hard to believe it is that time of the year again when the Sunflower seeds are ripening and the Gold Finch are here to feast on them.
Mr. Goldfinch is stunning ...

And, as there is no gender descrimination on my blog, Mrs. Goldfinch is also stunning in her own way :)

Have a Wonderful WB Week ...

What beautiful shots you have gotten of these beautiful little gold finches! End of the summer almost. It is hard to believe isn't it. Where did the summer go anyway???

Thats a lot of gold! Very nice.

I suppose I do wonder why it was harder than some of the other areas, but I spent enough time wandering through wetlands to know they are not uniform - as to why that is, you can just keep asking I suppose.

Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW

PS: I added another image to the WBW - I forgot last night!

I love the first photo the best. The way the petals of the flower surround the bird it looks like he has a halo.

Yellow in Nature is so beautiful! I'm looking forward to the fall migration so we can once again enjoy the Goldfinches.
