Mandarin Orange Monday

Mandarin Orange Monday #52  ... Woo Hoo!  Congratulations Lori for one full year of MOM!

This is my starting point ... no orange really, but sunflowers always catch my eye ...

First step is to Orangify ...

Get a little more focused ...

Now start playing with PS filters and a little painting ...

There you have it ... I followed Lori's lead  ... mixed and messed, used pdpa texture and Color Efex and Voila ... Do you  see what I see?

Once again Lori ... Congratulation on one full year of delicious orange fun.  Thank you for all of your effort and teaching!

Amazing work - great results. Love the next to the last one - it not only is good color - but reminds me of an owl. And owl and flowers - what a great combo.

I enjoyed the journey:) First an elegant orange transformation, then closer and more dramatic and great design - then all those lovely textures, followed by golden light and then....boom! Fire! Then fading and delicate and and then... a big "wonky" surprise:) I see a face - two eyes and a cute nose -and i know it is just me...but saw two little people down the bottom the first time I looked but not the next time. Good fun and beautiful artwork.
Thanks Andrea for your lovely comment and thank you, as always, for being a part of Mandarin Orange Monday:)))

I love the sunflowers! They're such happy flowers and the shiny orange colours absolutely underline that! Really nice pictures!! :)

I like the last three images best. The last one is quite interesting. Your creativity is simply awesome! By the way, I just love that windchime you found. I agree that you should go back and buy it. It's really quite unique. I'll keep my fingers crossed that no one buys it before you get back there. I've just got home from work and Pogo wants to play. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Hi there - nice images.

The top of Atilla is the same general sort of material has the rest of the "hill" its just a little harder for some reason - and it protected the material below it. The thing that makes my head pop is the fact that the top of the hill was one ground level! So the rest has been eroded away - such are the products of deep time!
