Mandarin Orange Monday

I am starting with my perfectly orange cat ... Diva

I put her on a background made up of orange, a pdpa texture and a PS texture

And then I start to play with filters ...

I added another PDPA texture to this one ...

From bold and extreme to soft and subtle ... all in the name of MOM :)

Have a wonderful week!

Doesn't it totally blow you away when you see all of these artistic choices that you can make with one photo?? All very cool. Your kitty looks as if she loves to pose!

Diva is my artistic kitty ... she not only loves to pose, she does it very well. As for my choices, believe it or not, I feel stuck at this point. I am looking for new treatments and approaches. Seems like I am always doing the same things, even though the results are different and usually satisfiying. I guess I am not easy to please ... :)

I agree ... Diva is an artists gift. I hope I do her justice ...

She looks so serene in her pictures ... don't know how she does that because in reality, she is anything but ... though I do love this cat :)

Andrea your pics made me smile! It was fun watching the way he changed.... I do love the first...as he is and beautiful mellow light. I think my favourite manipulated image is no. 5 and 7 - but they are all really interesting. The third last one with the orange moon shape is very dramatic!
Thanks again for being part of Mandarin Orange Monday:)

You are sooooo creative! I love how you treated the photo of Diva. I think the black and white ones are a bit spooky. Very interesting. I'm at work, so can't chat too long. You have a marvelous day. Hugs, Edna B.

Isn't it great having an orange cat as your muse? My George inspires me also. I'll have to play with some backgrounds for him as well. The last one caught my interest with the rays of light shining down on her.

And Diva has no clue what you did! She is still her same orange self after all of that artwork!
