Mandarin Orange Monday

I took this picture because of the simplicity and the reflection ... adding orange just struck me when I was browsing my files ... I love it.  It looks like orange sherbet, yummm!
Here I spiffed it up a bit with the smudge brush filter ... different for sure.   It doesn't look as enticing, but I like it anyway.

For a change of pace, this is a little Screech Owl.  These owls come in two morphs ... this one which is called Rufus and a Gray Morph.  The Rufus is very close to this color ... I oranged him up a little just to make sure he fit in with the other MOM pictures.

A little more artsy using the cutout filter.

And, once again the smudge brush filter to give it a little different look ... but, they are all the same in that they are all cute.  I love my little Screech Owls :)
Have a great week ...

I heard this weekend that there have been several Screech Owl sightings in our area. The one I saw in Oklahoma was in the grey phase. These are quite unique.
Chloe Jo would love an orange sherbet hall!
Have a peachy-orange week!

I really liked what you did with the corridor- it suddenly became a dramatic place (but did the woman notice? :) ) I will have to experiment with the smudge brush filter....
And then I scrolled down and got a big surprise - a big eye of an owl looking out. He is beautiful! And you made him even more beautiful with your editing. The middle owl is my favourite owl.
Thank you for sharing on Mandarin Orange Monday:)

Hi there - not a set of techniques I tend to use!

Nice pictures - but I think I'll let you keep the orange theme!
