Photo Art Friday

This was fun, as always.  Bonnie's Brown Rice Paper Texture was amazingly versatile in it's effects on my pictures.  Great choice Bonnie ...

I have been remiss in that I didn't jot down my process while I was working on these.  All of them did have the opacity change with the mask/brush, but I did do some lighting effects and others that I am not sure I can trace back ... Sorry.  I'll do better next time :)

These are all amazing. That said - it is the Sunflower and the Bee which have won my heart this week. Thank you.

Wow this is a Trio of awesomeness. Each one is so different and just delightful. If I had to pick a favorite I think the last one would be my pick just because I love Sunflowers and it's so cheery looking.

You've done a great job on these photos. Each one is so different, yet so interesting. My favorite is the wooden face. I love the expression. Now I'm off to dreamland. You have a wonderful night, hugs, Edna B.

I love the images you chose for this texture - they all look wonderful! And in answer to your question about "flypaper", I'm referring to the flyleaf pages that you can find in old books...those blank pages that are always at the front and/or back. I like to go to archives.org and look through books from the 1800s - some of the flyleaf pages are fantastic for using as textures over your photos. I look for the ones that are ripped, taped, etc. (and I only use the books whose copyright has expired). I hope this helps explain! Have a great weekend, Andrea. :)
