Sunday Selection

Sunday Selections #86

"Butterfly Encounters is encouraging everyone to plant milkweed seeds for the monarch butterfly. The caterpillar stage of the monarch butterfly feeds on milkweed plants. As land is developed and milkweed populations diminish, the monarch butterflies habitat is lost. We can rebuild this habitat by planting milkweed seeds in our gardens"

This is why I have quite a lot of Milkweed in my gardens. Beautiful shot.

The colours and textures you have captured are incredible. And I love the idea of supporting butterfly populations.

I didn't realize that. I'll be sure to plant some in my garden. I just love what you did in the first photo. Simply beautiful!! Have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
