Mandarin Orange Monday

 Mandarin Orange Monday #10.

Sometimes I think my old poop brain has gone over the edge.  I started this piece with a picture of a orange mold covered concrete fence and you see where I ended up ... really?  I guess you could call it creative, but I wonder ... what was I thinking?  Any thoughts?

Just so you know that I can create in a more conventional way ... these are cactus flowers and they didn't require any augmenting ... they are really that orange.  I did use pdpa's Aurora Overlay then erased out the flowers.  Other than framing it, it was that simple.  Hope you enjoy ...

I certainly like the flowers. As for the first pic, me thinks you might be a closeted weed smoker...

I am always happy to see any of your creations. The conventional and the more whimsical both have many charms. Thank you.

Besides loving orange you most certainly have a sense of humour Andrea. I love it.! That giraffe sure has a useful tongue! Lots of fun - and happy. It has a very pretty background too:)
I like your "conventional" one too - it actually looks like a painting - maybe Fauvism?
Thanks again Andrea for being part of Mandarin Orange Monday. I enjoy seeing your work:)

I love your sense of humor, and the cactus flowers or gorgeous. It's been a long time since I heard someone else say "me thinks". Sort of old fashioned like me. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
